Outside French riverside restaurant Le Pont De La Tour, the ‘Truffle Hut’ has returned to Butler’s Wharf for another season. Available until the end of November, the intimate den is clad with bark, cabin-style fixtures such as faux fur and just two seats. Inside, guests will be served a five-course truffle tasting menu and a bottle of Moët & Chandon. The feast will begin with wild mushrooms egg cocotte with truffle sabayon, followed by terrine de foie gras, apple and raisin chutney and truffle brioche. The third course comprises roasted turbot with champagne sauce and truffle shavings; followed by breast of poulet noir with baby leeks, supreme sauce and black truffle. Creme caramel flecked with golden raisins will finish off the feast.’
